Legendary, aging, and almost-forgotten theater actress Elaine Devereaux is determined to revitalize her career by remounting the show that first made her a star. But the only place Elaine can afford to put on her show is the remote, economically depressed town of Pleasant Falls. Will she be able to pull it off? Or will Elaine finally have to say goodbye to her dreams of a great Broadway comeback?
