It's New York City in the Roaring Twenties, and hapless wannabe Broadway composer Theodore Clayton hops from speakeasy to speakeasy in search of a powerful theatre producer in the hopes of getting him to produce his rollicking musical comedy Boys, Boys, Behave!. But just how far is our hero willing to go for a chance at showbiz fame?
